The 150 year old Coach House has been lovingly restored to provide private and self-contained luxury accommodation. Offering you every modern comfort internally, while still maintaining natural elements, and is set in a picturesque country farm location on the historic Tumut riverfront property of the Darbalara Homestead.
The Coach House offers a full sized bathroom with heated floors, deep claw foot tub and a separate shower; full kitchen with combined oven/microwave and dishwasher; smart tv, Bluetooth stereo and unlimited WiFi, open fireplace, reverse cycle air-conditioning, the comfort of a king bed with premium linen; private gardens with BBQ area and fire pit; plus the full use of the homesteads herb and vegetable garden with seasonal produce, freshly laid farm eggs and the use of the pool, 3 acre gardens and tennis court. Local wines are available for purchase from the room.
The property enjoys 1.5kms of exclusive river frontage and is 2km from the meeting of the Tumut and Murrumbidgee Rivers. If you are interested in fishing, this is a key area for snowy mountain Brown and Rainbow trout. The river also offers a beautiful setting for a picnic under the trees or afternoon drinks.
This is a luxury farm stay experience for only one couple at a time. It is a place to completely unwind waking to the sound of the birds and nature. No pets. No children. If you are travelling with a second couple, a second room with an ensuite may be offered, but this is strictly by request.
The Coach House is a 2 story building with bathroom on the lower floor and bedroom upstairs. This accommodation is not suitable if stairs are difficult for you or you require wheelchair access.
